7 Reasons Why You Need to Run Facebook Ads

Facebook Ads has a highly sensitive search function that will allow you to pinpoint people based on age, location, language, interests, behaviors and their Facebook friends.

For example: if you wanted to market specifically to 45 year old single women who are interested in cooking, kickboxing and World of Warcraft, you can.

3. Remarketing Capabilities

But Facebook Ads takes their targeting tool one step further with its remarketing capabilities. By adding a pixel to specific pages on your website (a pixel is a small string of HTML code), you can target those that land on your site with Facebook Ads.

For instance, even though I may not like Warby Parker’s page on Facebook, if I visit their website, advertisements for eye glasses may appear on my Facebook feed. This is all done through retargeting!

According to research conducted by social media guru Jeff Bullas, 47% of Americans say Facebook is their #1 influencer of purchases. With power like that, you can’t afford to miss out.

The reason Facebook is so influential is because of something we call “social proof.” When we see that our friends and family endorse certain brands or products, it validates our motivation to buy. Facebook knows this and does everything it can to capitalize, making sure to include referrals whenever possible. We see these referrals in the form of likes and other reactions.

Facebook Ads may offer you the best bang for your buck, providing thousands of online impressions for only a few dollars a day. Now, impressions doesn’t always lead to conversions and/or signups, but it is an extremely effective tool for brand awareness.
